Please apply if you are excited to join a company which believes that honesty is the only choice, whose team members respect and help each other, work hard, and enjoy their jobs.This is a full time position with hours of operation Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, $25.00- $30.00 per hour depending on experience (any work performed before or after work hours is paid at double time); medical benefits, and retirement plan offered. Successful completion of substance test and a background check are mandatory.Supervisory Responsibilities-- Monitor employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching Jr Technician-- Create and manage work schedules-- Receive complaints and resolve problems-- Train new employees-- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arisesTypical Duties and Responsibilities-- Installing and repairing various types of industrial and commercial doors and dock equipment, including springs, tracks, pulleys, panels, hardware, and other components-- Performing preventive maintenance on garage doors to ensure they are functioning properly-- Determining what needs to be done to repair or replace an existing garage door system-- Maintaining inventory of new parts to ensure prompt repair of doors-- Cleaning debris from tracks to ensure smooth operation of doors-- Installing new door openers and repairing existing ones-- Repairing or replacing broken springs, hinges, tracks, pulleys, panels, and other components of garage doors-- Problem solve and troubleshoot dock or door maintenance issues.-- Communicate and report daily with management.-- Maintain safe work environment, take proper precautions to ensure safety measures are in place and utilized.-- Establish and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines and vendors.-- Complete after-hours emergency service calls when needed.-- Work in warehouse as needed.-- Report daily for tasks to Service Manager.-- Support and work alongside Jr Door Technician.Skills/Abilities-- Must poses mechanical aptitude.-- Understand standard and metric measurements.-- Good decision-making skills and response to high pressure situations.-- Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical components.-- Must have ability to utilize hand tools and power tools.Education and Experience-- High School Diploma/GED-- Field Service and Installation background experience required-- 2 year Commercial/ Service industry technician experience required-- Valid driver's license with good driving recordPhysical Requirements-- Must be able to climb and work from ladders both extension and A-Frame, height up to 40 ft.-- Must be able to access and navigate office and warehouse (including mezzanine stairs).-- Must be able to lift 75lbs pounds at a time.-- Must be able to operate company truck as needed.PI7192a3dc3de6-25660-35626029
