The Partners Group currently has a unique opportunity for an
innovative Salesforce professional to join our Operations team in
Portland, OR as a Salesforce Administrator.

How you will make an impact at TPG
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our IT team and
take ownership of managing, optimizing, and enhancing our
Salesforce platform. This role is crucial in ensuring system
stability, improving workflows, and enabling business efficiency.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure,
maintain, and enhance Salesforce capabilities while troubleshooting
issues and implementing scalable solutions.
Beyond day-to-day administration, you'll play a key role in
strategic system improvements, automation, and user adoption,
helping drive operational success across the organization.
A typical day in this role
Manage Salesforce administration, including user setup, security
settings, reports, dashboards, workflows, and system
configurations.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting, managing support
tickets and ensuring data integrity.
Automate processes using Salesforce Flow, optimizing workflows and
system efficiency.
Maintain sandbox environments and deploy changes using Gearset or
Change Sets, following best practices.
Monitor system performance, manage data backups, and troubleshoot
issues proactively.
Collaborate with business users and the IT team to implement
enhancements and maximize platform functionality.
Review Salesforce releases, assess impacts on the organization, and
ensure smooth updates and improvements.
Maintain system documentation and provide user training to optimize
adoption and efficiency.
Key details
Location: Portland, OR (preferred), in-office with hybrid remote
opportunities
Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Salary Range: $70,000-80,000 annually (depending on experience)
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time,
ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to
handle long periods of screen time.
Travel: Minimal overnight travel (3-4 times per year) for office
visits, training, or conferences. Employees within 50 miles of a
TPG office may be expected to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
What you'll bring to the table (required qualifications)
Salesforce Administrator Certification with 3+ years of hands-on
experience in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Sales Cloud and Financial Services Cloud (or
Service Cloud as a substitute).
At least one year of hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow for
process automation.
A solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, system
architecture, and governance.
Experience managing user roles, permissions, and system security
settings.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
Experience working in a collaborative technical team and managing
multiple priorities in a matrixed structure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).
What will make you really stand out (preferred qualifications)
Experience working with Apex code (even basic familiarity is a
plus).
Ability to create and manage custom objects in Salesforce.
Familiarity with Gearset for change management and deployment.
Experience supporting a for-profit business with at least 75
Salesforce users.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to identify
and implement system improvements.
