Job Description:

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Machine Builder/Fabricator for a long-term role with a shop located in SE Portland. The person in this position will use their mechanical skills to assemble parts, weld, and run conduit to make industrial machinery.

PAY: $30-$33/hr



Machine Builder/Fabricator Responsibilities:

Take fabricated frames, machined part, and purchased parts and assemble machinery.


Bend and form conduit.


Follow blueprints.


Weld and fabricate with wirefeed welding.


Operate hand and power tools.


Assist in other departments as needed.





Machine Builder/Fabricator Qualifications:

3+ years of mechanical assembly or other mechanical experience.


Millwright background is ideal.


Must have experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.


Experience bending and forming conduit.


Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC friendly).
