- Coach, mentor, and train direct report staff. Provides
continuous performance management and conducts employee performance
evaluations. Addresses performance and/or behavior issues,
clarifying expectations and providing feedback.
- Support staff growth and development. Assesses the educational
and experience needs of all levels of staff in collaboration with
the individual. Encourage staff to seek educational opportunities
by incorporating job-related training in addition to mandatory
training.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff. Provides
orientation to outline job requirements and expectations, policies
and procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Under the direction of a Program Coordinator ii or other
supervisor, assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing
program policy and procedures for assigned program(s) incorporating
federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Recommend
improvements to current policies and procedures to improve program
effectiveness and performance.
- Under the direction of a Program Coordinator II or other
supervisor, assists in overseeing program requirements and ensuring
program compliance. Provides review and analysis of adherence to
grant and program requirements, objectives, and goals. Respond to
questions regarding grant and program compliance from external
sources, including state and agency contacts.
- Serve as a program resource on program guidelines and
requirements as defined by funding source.
- Under the direction of the supervisor, manage the program
budget and ensure expenditures are allowable and reasonable.
- Monitor, review, and report on program progress and
impact.
- Present seminars and workshops to parent participants and
community partners.
- Work collaboratively with community partners to provide
services to Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC) clients.
Demonstrates cultural awareness and the ability to conduct business
with local agencies.
- Participate in local, state, and federal efforts to improve
service delivery and program effectiveness.
- Establish goals for improving the quality of services provided.
Leads and manages quality improvement and customer satisfaction
activities to enhance delivery of services.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Healthcare
Management, Business Administration, or Medical Office
Administration is required; Two years of experience, including
working in an office environment, working with programs, working in
a non-profit organization, and/or working in social services, may
be substituted for required education, depending on the
contract.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Public
Health Services Administration, or Business Administration is
preferred.
- One year's experience working in an office environment, working
with programs, working in a non-profit organization, and/or working
in social services is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability
insurance coverage.
- Strong public speaking skills,
- Strong event planning skills with ability to organize public
and employee events.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to
establish and maintain partnerships in the community and within
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (YVFWC).
- Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs,
including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Our
