Job Description:

Southland Holdings is accepting resumes for highly motivated professionals to join our team as a General/Steel Pipe Superintendent in Gresham, OR. This is an experienced role requiring 12-15 years of experience.Responsibilities:

• Supervise all phases of steel pipe installation, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Understand basic concrete principles such as concrete mix designs, admixtures, curing, cold and hot weather procedures for concrete placing and finishing, formwork systems, and concrete calculations for pours. Monitor and enforce compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations.
• Develop project plan along with Project Manager and drive project milestones.
• Provide day-to-day direction on-site to project resources and ensure the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their goals.
• Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of steel pipe construction experience.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale pipeline projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel pipe installation techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must have working knowledge of common MS Office programs.
• Willingness to work long hours.Education:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Relevant experience can waive degree.Benefits (Full-time):
