Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00), Friday to Sunday Guaranteed Hours: Information not specified Experience: 1 year experience as RT, RDMS, or CNMT preferred License: - Must be licensed as a practitioner of MRI with the appropriate medical imaging board as applicable (temporary license is acceptable). Certifications: - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT). - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire. Must-Have: - Capable of operating state-of-the-art MRI equipment and computer systems, film processors, and other technical supportive devices. - Must have good interpersonal communication skills, appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming. - Must maintain confidentiality for all patient, personnel, and sensitive information. Job Description: - Perform advanced MRI procedures ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. - Collaborate effectively with radiologists and medical staff to achieve optimal results. - Manage patient flow efficiently and establish priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing needs. - Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and protocols for patient safety and protection. - Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Possess the ability to float to affiliate locations as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability. Please note that candidates may be required to float to other nearby affiliate locations as needed. This position does not accommodate block scheduling requests. Return staff policy includes a six-month waiting period for former permanent employees before applying for travel positions. Additional details such as on-boarding modules are non-billable, up to 8 hours completed pre-start and annually.
