Dallas Animal Clinic is looking for a full-time Veterinary Hospital Manager to join our thriving team! We are seeking servant leaders with proven success in people management, who share our growth mindset and drive to foster outstanding team culture.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience required
  • 3+ years of veterinary experience required
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, growing revenue and processing payroll
  • Experience managing the development and growth of teams
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence and strong conflict management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft suite and various practice management systems (AviMark preferred)
  • Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team
    As the Hospital Manager, you will partner with our Medical Director and be responsible for many aspects of the day-to day management of the business. Most important, you will build a positive culture and cultivate trust with our existing team. This is a "hands-on" position, and the Hospital Manager is expected to assist the hospital in various areas as needed.

    This is a full-time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule, and candidates are expected to have flexibility to meet the needs of the hospital; Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

    Benefits and compensation:
    • Competitive salary: $65,000 - $75,000/ year based on experience and skillset
    • Bonus Package: $2,000 for CVTs or CVPMs

      • Client communication and education
      • Team training and development
      • Creating schedules for all team members
      • Payroll, inventory and budget management
      • Complaint resolution
      • Ensuring that safety protocols are followed
      • Monitoring hospital flow

        Dallas Animal Clinic is a well-established, high-quality, mixed animal, general practice based in Dallas, Oregon. We currently have a 4-doctor team and we're proud to have a talented, long-standing staff, including 3 CVT's. We primarily see dogs and cats; however, we're also equipped to treat livestock, horses, "pocket pets," and some exotics. Some of our tools and equipment include in-house bloodwork, radiology, ultrasound, ECG, 2 ambulatory vehicles, and more. Our hospital itself is in a great location about 20 minutes from Salem and our goal is to use the most up-to-date skills and diagnostics to provide top-quality, compassionate medicine to our patients and their families. We have provided Dallas residents compassionate, top-quality animal care for more than 50 years and we are eager to welcome a new member to our outstanding team.
