President, Building Solutions* to oversee and drive operational
excellence across their Janitorial, Floor Care/Specialty Cleaning
Services, and Landscaping divisions. This executive role is
responsible for leading a dynamic team of 600+ employees, driving
financial performance, and advancing Relays mission of creating
meaningful work for people with disabilities.The ideal candidate
will be a strategic leader with a strong background in service
delivery and business operations, capable of balancing
mission-driven work with bottom-line results. This person will
thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment and bring a passion for
cultural leadership, disability inclusion, and business growth. The
Vice President will collaborate with Relays Executive Leadership
Team, ensuring operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction,
and continuous innovation.*Job Location:* Portland, OR.
(HYBRID)*DIRECT HIRE!**Salary: $160 180k, DOE**ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:*_*Strategic Leadership*_* Leads the development of
strategic initiatives that generate revenue from current Federal
and State contracts, ensures Relay Resources Building Solutions
division achieves operational excellence, is mission aligned, and
has capacity for significant growth.* Maintains full profit and
loss responsibility for Janitorial and specialty services like
Floor Care & Landscaping, including development and management of
annual budget and capital investments* Develops and maintains
systems and processes to optimize the productivity of our
operations, increase revenue, and create jobs.* Ensures Relay
delivers exceptional customer services and remains compliant with
all applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements and contract
specifications.* Collaborates with Chief Revenue Officer, Sales and
Business Development and interfaces with customer Contract
Officers; provides pricing oversight and pricing development for
pursuits of new and renewed contracts.* Navigates change while
demonstrating resilience, solution-oriented thinking, and
collaboration throughout the organization, including shared
services, outside vendors and other key stakeholders.* Approaches
complex business situations that require adaptive strategies and
innovative solutions with confidence and grace.* Develops
productive working relationship with SEIU and LIUNA union

Demonstrates a deep understanding of Relays need to balance the

techniques of leadership to direct and motivate employees.* Sets
performance expectations, holds team leaders accountable and
addresses performance issues.*QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:** 15+
years management experience or equivalent education and experience
in business operations required.* Bachelors degree in Business
Administration or a related field. Masters degree or graduate level
course work in Business Administration or a related field is
preferred.* Prior management experience in Service Delivery,
Building Management, and/or Janitorial Management* Prior experience
managing customer contracts, pricing, budgeting, and team leader
development, negotiating union contracts.* Strong leadership,
business, and financial acumen.* Demonstrated understanding and
delivery of business management principles and practices; ability
to develop improved business management processes and ability to
advise on such processes.* Demonstrated experience in budgeting,
cost estimating, and fiscal management.* Preferred but not required
demonstrated ability to work with adults with disabilities, with
excellent interpersonal skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively
across the organization including Sales and Business Development,
Human Resources, Finance and Administration, Disability Inclusion
teams.* Proficiency required in Microsoft Office, Excel, Asana,
UKG, Loom, Salesforce and other applications.* Experience with
NetSuite budgeting systems preferred.* Demonstrated executive level
presentation, speaking, and writing skills.* Valid drivers license
and reliable automobile, safe driving record and insurance coverage
