Our growing auto body shop seeks a mechanic to join our talented team of auto mechanics and service technicians. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assessing vehicle components ranging from electronic systems to air conditioning units. Responsibilities:

--- Generating repair estimates, timelines, and process documents for automotive work
--- Team up with managers and other mechanics to diagnose and service cars coming in for auto repairs
--- Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills
--- Keep organized vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history records.
--- Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions


Qualifications:

--- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills are necessary
--- A valid driver's license is necessary
--- Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairs
--- Preferred education is an associate's degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification
--- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
--- 1+ years of mechanical automotive experience
