Diesel Mechanic

FULL-TIME

$32/hr

$27 - $32 DOE
Min. of 5 years of engine rebuild and diagnostics
Proficient in electrical diagnostics and repair
Proficient in all forms of hydraulic repair
Proficient with diagnostic tools including electronics, ABS, and air conditioning tools
Preferably someone who also has heavy equipment repair experience
CDL A preferred but CDL B will work
Experience with gears and transmissions is preferred
PDX-02 WS-02 WS-TC

Shift length: Based on route

  • Must be at least 21+ years old Ability to work in confined places Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work over 40 hours per week Ability to work on Saturdays and an occasional Sunday upon request Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift and/or push 50 lbs. often Must be able to hear and communicate with others including radio and phone use Must be able to view, read and complete paperwork and view computer screen Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel frequently Must be able to write, grip levers/controls, and use radio on a regular basis Physically able to climb plant facilities through use of ladders and gangways to access facilities
