Job Description:
What you will do:The Sr. Supply Chain Business Improvement
Manager, is responsible for providing insights and analysis on the
economic impact of initiatives that are critical to our Supply
Chain. This role will lead and champion the supply chain team in
developing and maintaining many aspects of financial planning to
ensure clear financial visibility of our supply chain business
operations and trends and will drive the business to achieve and
improve our goals. Provide guidance and support to manage and
monitor the budget and will provide financial analysis, and
modeling. This role will also work closely with department leaders
and cross-functional teams to support projects and decision-making
processes. In addition, this role will be responsible for
identifying opportunities within the business that will deliver
both cost savings and operational efficiencies by working closely
with the VP of Supply Chain, EVP, Operations and on occasion other
functional leaders. A strong candidate will have a demonstrated
track record of being a self-starter who is comfortable working in
a fast-paced and dynamic environment.--Here s a day in the
life:Provide strategic analysis to identify key drivers of
financial trends within the supply chain.Lead and improve monthly
and quarterly reporting with the ability to identity KPI's and
explain variances within results.Lead the development of the annual
operating plan and quarterly forecasting process, identify KPI's
and publish scorecards and dashboards.Partner cross functionally
to:Proactively identify business drivers with the commercial
finance team across all sales channels.Ensure full analysis is
performed on potential innovation projects, capital investments, or
new/modified customer requests.Provide transparent reporting and
timely analysis for executive review and Board
presentations.Develop deep collaborative relationships with the
Supply Chain Leadership Team to support effective and efficient
cross-functional work, information flow and problem solving,
including:Define and establish the operational strategies,
processes and tools to manage and monitor the performance of Supply
Chain end to end.Oversee development of the monthly SC Productivity
forecast vs budget and prior year.Support the operational base and
productivity portions of the annual operating plan.Review existing
processes for improvement and efficiencies.Oversee process to
define and deliver ad hoc analysis, standard reports, and
recommendations to VP of SC and EVP Operations.Identify
opportunities to automate historically manual processes and
reporting. Ability to navigate SQL & build PowerBI tools to
automate processes.Partnerships, Profits, Plans and Process:
interact with Supply Chain and Finance management, as well as
leaders throughout Tillamook to ensure financial goals and
strategies are achieved, by monitoring and reporting on key
financial and non-financial performance indicators specific to
Supply Chain.Report Building:Design and create forward looking
reporting to help management with better decision making. Think
outside the box to provide data in ways that management had not
thought of before.Complex Analysis and Scenario Modeling to help
facilitate better decision making:Firm focus on performing complex
financial analyses as well as generating models to support decision
making within Supply Chain Finance. You will use these insights to
make recommendations to Management. We are looking for someone who
has a passion for analytics!Communication and Change Management
ResponsibilitiesPartner with Stewardship to help strategize our
long-term efforts to enable business improvement
activities.--Knowledge, skills, and abilities:Bachelor s in
Business or master s degree preferred. 10+ years relevant
experience inclusive of at least 4 years program/project management
experience.Experience leading and facilitating completion of
business projects including, financial reporting, insights and
analytics.Innovative, strategic and logical thinker with strong
analytical and problem solving skills. Highly motivated &
self-directed.Ability to interface professionally with all levels &
functions of the organization. Exceptional attention to detail,
highly organized, effective facilitator and communicator. Ability
to multi-task & prioritize items to meet project deadlinesAbility
train and lead various company supply chain resources in meeting
project support deadlines. Strong Microsoft Office skills with
proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Visio, MS Excel and analytics
platforms. Ability to travel when needed--Key managerial
responsibilities:Responsible for and holds others accountable for
executing activities that accomplish project objectives within
established timeframe and budget and enhance people and culture
development and growth; directs the resolution of complex business
problems sometimes requiring innovative solutions by applying
advanced analytical thought and judgement to support complex
programs/projects; demonstrating financial responsibility by
