Atlas Staffing is looking for talented individuals with a high attention to detail to join a large grocery distribution center as an Inventory Cycle Counter. If you have previous inventory counting experience in a warehouse or production environment and you are looking for a great new opportunity, we want to hear from you! *This position is temporary but could move to permanent*Objective: Conducts physical inventory counts and warehouse case maintenance. Researches, reports discrepancies and prepares weekly reports.**1-2 Years of Inventory Experience Required!**Responsibilities:Compares and reconciles physical inventory counts to those maintained in the inventory systemReconciles physical and financial inventories in LCSMonitors chargeback, RTV and store return activityCompletes research to determine reason why pallets cannot be slotted by the inventory systemCompletes necessary system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountabilityCompletes warehouse case maintenance (physically measuring case dimensions, verifying slot heights and performing necessary computer entries)Making entries for store returns and printing various related reportsVerify total case count assembled by warehouse assemblers to store invoice when applicableReports discrepancies to warehouse supervisorRecap audit results for weekly reportingRequirements and Physical Working Conditions:Inventory counting experience in a grocery, distribution and/or production environment is REQUIREDAuditing experienceDetail oriented with a high level of accuracy in counting product with multiple layers and varying cases per layerPossess excellent math skills, figure aptitude and 10-key calculator skillsGood telephone and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work with minimum supervisionAbility to stand for long periods of time, walk to various locations within the warehouse facility, move rapidly, end, stoop, and twist and turn frequently. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are necessarySome lifting of product cases required (up to 50 lbs)Temperatures in the warehouse may vary between -5 to 70 degrees. Experience working in cold environments.Possess good oral and written communications skills internally as well as with vendorsStamina for working in a warehouse environment for long hours on your feet.Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions. Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc. Work environment is hectic and fast paced.Schedule: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AMPlease note: You must be available to work any day of the week.*The initial training will be 2-4 weeks, at 4-5 days per weeks (10:30 AM to 7:00 PM/9:00 PM)Wage: $18.00-$19.00/hr.
