Local specialty practice is now adding a *Medical Assistant* to their clinical team located within one of Portland's leading medical campuses. Providers are open to *Certified Nursing Assistants* or *Medical Assistants* to apply for this role - training to their specialty will be provided!*Overview:*As the *Medical Assistant* you'll be working directly with the provider and assist with all aspects of the patient's visit, this includes hands-on clinical procedures.*Responsibilities:** Rooming patients* Obtain and recording patient vitals* Updating patient records in EMR systems* Assisting with in-office procedures* Cleaning and sterilizing exam rooms* Stocking exam rooms* Triaging patient calls + messages* Completing other assigned projects/duties*Qualifications and Skills:** High School Diploma or equivalent* Medical Assistant degree or Current CNA credentials* 6+ Months of recent Medical Assisting or CNA experience* Familiarity with patient vitals and injections* Current BLS license* Prior EMR/EHR software experience* Current on required immunization/vaccinations (including Covid-19 vaccination)* Ability to obtain Medical Assisting credentials after 1-year*Schedule:* Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM) per patient appointments*Compensation:* $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly based on CNA/MA experienceReady to apply?
