What we offer
- Salary $101,000-$136,000 DOE with ability to go higher for
highly experienced candidates.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Duties:
- Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint
Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration
(HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.
- Serves as a role model for professional standards and nursing
expectations and subject matter expert.
- The Regional Director of Nursing exercises authority and
influence to oversee and guide nursing leadership within the
region. By fostering positive relationships and effective
communication, they ensure that nursing teams operate efficiently
and provide exceptional patient care.
- Collaborates with regional clinics and corporate departments to
develop strategic plans for nursing operations. This includes
aligning goals, optimizing resources, and implementing best
practices.
- Collaborates with management in assigned clinics to plan
standardized patient care delivery systems that effectively address
patient needs, adequate staffing, and ensure quality patient
care.
- Monitors and evaluates nursing practices to maintain high
standards of care. Implements quality improvement initiatives and
ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partners with other healthcare leaders, physicians, and
stakeholders to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and achieve
organizational goals. Responsibility for representing the assigned
region on corporate committees and leading regional nursing
organizational goals. Collaborates with nursing personnel at all
levels within the region to achieve shared objectives.
- Collaborates with Senior Director of Nursing and local
leadership teams to create and implement workflows and initiatives
that ensure clinical competence, staff performance, effective
communication, and continual education.
- Establishes protocols to regularly update leadership on
progress towards established goals and objectives. Actively
highlights areas needing development, champions the implementation
of effective solutions, and ensures the development or availability
of data to report on progress.
- Provides leadership to the regions clinic s nursing team when
the clinic nursing supervisor is unavailable, demonstrating strong
leadership by being proactively present onsite as required.
Efficiently prioritizes departmental responsibilities, ensuring
task delegation, quality control, and comprehensive staff
supervision.
- Acts as a key support to the clinic nursing supervisor and may
participate in the recruitment and selection of clinic nursing
staff. This includes guiding new hires through their job roles,
expectations, and the clinics policies and procedures, as well as
instructing on the correct use of tools and equipment.
- Collaborates with Vice President of Operations, Senior Director
of Nursing, Clinic Directors, and Clinic Managers to develop the
nursing budget for the region. Develops and implements the annual
department work plan forecasting equipment needs and capacity
requirements.
- Keeps clinic nursing supervisors informed about quality
improvement initiatives and supports clinic leadership in achieving
nursing-related objectives.
- Mentors and develops nursing leaders at various levels.
Encourages professional growth and fosters a positive work
environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education:Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. Associate
Degree in Nursing and two additional years of nursing experience
may be substituted for Bachelor's degree. Master of Science Degree
in Nursing preferred.
- Experience:Four year's clinical experience as a RN with at
least two year's supervisory experience in an Inpatient or
outpatient environment. Three years' experience with responsibility
for department leadership preferred.
- Professional Licenses/Certificates/Registration:Registered
Nurse license for the state of practice. Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) Certification within 90 days of hire. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) preferred. Valid Driver s License and proof of
automobile liability insurance coverage. If RN license is in a
participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, the following
requirements apply:
- Must submit proof of license in state of residence.
- Must submit proof of completion for the required suicide
prevention training during 1st week of onboarding.
- If relocating to Washington State, must obtain WA RN license
within 6 months of hire.
- Must update primary state of residence within 60 days (applies
to anyone relocating to Washington State)
- Military Nurses are not required to obtain Nurse Licensure
Compact (NLC)
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Physical requirements for this
position include hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, talking,
stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, fingering, grasping, and
repetitive motions. This position requires walking and/or standing
for long periods of time and/or sitting is only required
occasionally. This position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of
force and/or 10 pounds frequently in order move objects. This
position is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or
caustic chemicals, and electrical shock. This position requires the
ability to travel and have reliable transportation for possible
coverage at surrounding YVFWC sites, as assigned.
