Job Description:
Springdale Job Corps Center is a career technical training
school for young adults, ages 16-24 years. We are seeking a highly
motivated, energetic, and innovative Career Preparation (CP)
Instructor to join our team! Job Duties Include: • Coordinate pre-arrival activities to ensure effective
transition to center life. • Provide introduction to Job Corps procedures; facilitate staff
and community partner presentations. • Develop and facilitate engaging classroom discussions in
employability skills, job search, conflict resolution, diversity,
information technology, wellness, personal development, and
independent living. • Provide personal and career counseling; clarify career
technical training choices. • Establish supportive/mentoring relationships with students
throughout their enrollment. • Show respect and courtesy to students while taking appropriate
action to positively influence student behavior. • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Sociology, or
relevant field • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with acceptable
driving record • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite. $40,973.40 annual salary. Benefits package includes company paid
